• Why is my furnace blowing cold air?

  Yes, we absolutely do! We have an on-call technician available evenings, weekends, and holidays to assist when urgent HVAC issues arise. Whenever possible, we recommend scheduling service calls during normal business hours to help keep costs lower. However, we understand that extreme temperatures can quickly become uncomfortable or even unsafe, which is why our team is available whenever you need us most.
• How long does it typically take to get service?

  Our goal is to schedule most service calls within 24 hours. During periods of high demand, appointment availability may vary, but we always do our best to get to you as quickly as possible. Authority Comfort Club members receive priority scheduling benefits. Ask our office about membership options and the additional perks available through the program.
• What is the best system for Utah’s climate?

  Yes! A whole-home humidifier works with your HVAC system to distribute moisture throughout your home and can be especially helpful during Utah winters. Cold winter air can make your home extremely dry, so adding moisture back into the air can help reduce dry skin, static electricity, nosebleeds, and more. Proper humidity levels can also help protect wood floors, furniture, and other materials in your home. We recommend a whole-home humidifier for every home in Utah! 

• How much does an HVAC repair cost?

  Every repair is different, and costs depend on the nature of the problem and any parts required. We charge a $69 diagnostic fee during normal business hours for one of our technicians to visit your home, diagnose the issue, and provide repair quotes. Most common repairs typically range from $300–$500, though costs can vary depending on the complexity of the repair. Authority Comfort Club members save more on repairs, helping lower the cost when unexpected issues arise. Our service vehicles are fully equipped with professional tools and a large inventory of parts, allowing us to complete most repairs during the first visit.
• How often should HVAC equipment be serviced?

  Most manufacturers recommend getting maintenance done once per year for each piece of HVAC equipment. Regular maintenance helps improve efficiency, reduce breakdowns, extend equipment life, and maintain warranty requirements. Our Authority Comfort Club maintenance plans make annual service simple and affordable by bundling the recommended maintenance your system needs.
